Arhum Rizvi, MA
Arhum is a pre-licensed clinician with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College. With over three years of experience providing trauma-informed care in outpatient and correctional settings, she brings a grounded and compassionate approach to her work. She works with children ages 10 years and older, adolescents and transitional age youth, as well as adults through age 80 years.​

Rooted in both psychodynamic and person-centered frameworks, Arhum supports clients in deepening their understanding of themselves while building the skills to stay present, intentional, and values-aligned. Her work is guided by cultural responsiveness and a belief in the power of meaning-making—particularly at the intersection of spirituality, identity, and mental health.

Arhum has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and interpersonal challenges. She places strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for safety, trust, and healing.

Her ideal clients are those who may feel uncertain about starting therapy or who have struggled to feel safe in past relationships, but are ready to invest in themselves and move toward meaningful change.

Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, Arhum creates a warm, affirming space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to live more authentically.
