Kerry Fitzgerald
Kerry earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College in May 2025. She specializes in working with children and adolescents navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, OCD, and mood disorders. Kerry integrates therapeutic play, CBT, and expressive creativity into her clinical work to access non-verbal forms of communication, emotional expression, and learning.
Prior to joining Berin Psych Inc., Kerry’s clinical work centered on forensic and juvenile treatment settings, where she worked with youth presenting with co-morbid conditions and dual diagnoses. This experience informed her systems-based understanding of behavior, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and the complexities that often emerge at the intersection of mental health, family systems, and environmental stressors.
In addition to her work with children and adolescents, Kerry has expanded her psychotherapy practice to include transitional-age youth and adults, with a focus on treating complex trauma through trauma-informed, systems-based interventions. Her approach emphasizes understanding individuals within the broader context of their relationships, environments, and lived experiences.
Those working with Kerry can expect her to be punctual, conscientious, and clear with boundaries, while simultaneously providing warmth, compassion, and thoughtful support to those she serves. Kerry welcomes individuals who are committed to their personal growth and are seeking a supportive therapeutic relationship to help guide them through their journey.
