Uchechukwu "Uche" Iloanusi

Uche is a Masters Level Practitioner with over 5 years of experience in clinical mental health. She works with transitional-age youth and adults across the developmental lifespan. 

 

Uche provides affirming, safe, and inclusive care.

Her clinical and therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed princinples that helps clients regain control over their life.

 

Uche utilizes several therapeutic modalities including Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as all can be instrumental in identifying evaluating, and building capacity in areas of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive control. Uche believes that change is most impactful within the context of collaboration, mutual trust, and respect.

 

In sessions, individuals can expect an affirming and supportive environment to establish realistic goals, address concerns, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
